Recreational runner, now on elliptical after 2 ACl's and torn cartilage (which I tore on treadmill). Bought these to replace Asics Nimbus 12. Have a wide foot, so Asics 4E fits better. Triumph 9's are wider all the way through shoe (look like a rectangle), instead of Asics which are more shapely or form fitting. If I had seen how wide this show was in a store, I would have passed and gone back to Asics. I let price sway my decision. You sit up higher in Nimbus. Triumph looks cheap too, but picked up for almost 1/2 price on a Hot Daily Deal, so for $70 bucks they're worth it. I noticed on most sites they're $129.00, and for that price, I would expect a more quality looking shoe. Reminds me of their shoes you would see in Shoe Carnival or DSW. For elliptical they are fine, but they have a more floaty feel. Asics offer more feedback when running. Both are considered Neutral or Neutral+, so these are apple to apple shoes.
Teen Boy dresses as I bought these boots a couple of months ago and was so excited to receive them as I have never had boots like this before. I was not disappointed. I have received so many compliments about how cute they are! It's true...they are not only really comfortable, but also dress up your outfit because of the wedge heel. I treated the boots with a suede protector and they have done really well in the snow. I wear them all the time and absolutely love them!
